7. Folders and messages
Musashi saves messages in a folder and it is possilbe to create folders in a folder. But a folder can't have both folders and messages, can have only either folders or messages.
Musashi has the following three default folders initially. You can not delete these folders.
- Inbox
Saving newly arrived messages
- Outbox
Saving messages you create
- Trash
7-1. Folder Viewer and Message Viewer
Musashi has Folder Viewer for managing folders and Message Viewer for managing messages.
In Musashi, the windows such as Folder Viewer and Message Viewer have a panel that have buttons to execute command.
7-2. Managing folders
On Folder Viewer, each folder is displayed as icon. To select a folder, click an icon. You can use shift key modifier and area selection by mouse dragging.
[Creating folders]
Click New folder... button on Folder Viewer or New folder... from Do menu.
[Renaming folders]
Click Rename folder... button on Folder Viewer or Rename folder... from Do menu after selecting a folder.
[Deleting folders]
Click Delete folder... button on Folder Viewer or Delete folder... from Do menu after selecting folders.
[Changing folder icon]
After selecting folders on Folder Viewer, select Change folder icon... from Do menu.
[Moving folder]
You can move the folder location and also move into another folder with drag and drop operation.
[Opening folder]
Double-click a folder on Folder Viewer, or select Open... from Do menu.
7-3. Managing messages
Message Viewer has two parts, the list and the viewer. When you click a message in the list part, the contents of the message will be viewed in the viewer part. And you can select two or more messages by mouse dragging and shift key modifier.
[Browsing message]
Click the message you want to browse. If you select two or more messages, no message is browsed. you can page-scroll the message content by pressing SPACE key.
7-4. Attachment
If a message has attachments, they are displayed as icons in the message contents. You can open the attachments by double-clicking.
